WENDLING VILLAGE HALL
The village hall was built in 1953 and the work was started by some of the men from the village on their safe return from war. The hall ha now been completely refurbished and has a new roof with new toilets, a bar area and a Disabled Toilet to conform to the Disability Act. Some grants were obtained but it was done mainly through a lot of hard work and fundraising. It has been completely redecorated and a new kitchen fitted. The rear of the hall has been made into a garden and has a lawned area large enough to hold events in. A variety of regular events take place. In front of the hall is an area large enough for several cars to use for parking. At the beginning of the car park the Recycling Bottle Banks are sited.
